Enjoyed our brief visit with Jane and Frank at their Tea Rose Inn while visiting lovely Plymouth, NH on business trip. Everything about our stay was exceptional. A most pleasant greeting at the door, followed by a nice glass of wine. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you hope for. Decor was high Victorian in a beautiful Victorian home set very close to the center of town and all its attractions.A special highlight is Jane's breakfast. It is easily the best B&B breakfast we have been presented in years!! I would recommend just for the breakfast! All in all, a very nice experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

My wife and I made a trip to NH for a snowboarding trip at Loon. A friend of ours came too and decided to stay away from the mountain, so he chose this place. Our main requirement? A big breakfast in the morning and a place with a pool table within walking distance. This B&B was perfect.
We found out as we got off the highway this place is within walking distance to Plymouth State University and as we drove closer to the Tea Rose Inn, we were a little worried about college kids in the streets. Make no mistake, there are kids roaming the streets and being college kids as they should be but we had no incidents. We were provided with ear plugs if we had problems with the noise. I sleep like a rock so I didn't need them.
Frank and Jane have a BEAUTIFULLY decorated home. My wife and I stayed in the Green Room and it was so nicely decorated, we were afraid to move around too much to avoid knocking anything over. Our king bed was a sleep number bed so we were able to adjust the comfort of the bed. We didn't spend a whole lot of time around the house except for breakfast time. OMG.....WHAT A BREAKFAST. Jane cooked up egg quiche and french toast along with sausages, bacon, home fries, etc. There were assorted muffins, biscuits, bagels, cereal, etc. I had a little bit of almost everything and I was so stuffed. That REALLY made it worth the stay. Frank and Jane were very hospitable and welcoming. I would love to stay at their place again next time we're in the area. You'll have to be VERY careful if bringing young ones as there are many things that could get knocked over.

This is a lovely place to spend a night (or a weekend!). The innkeepers are incredibly welcoming. I arrived late, and Jane was waiting up for me with hot beverages and cookies. She was decorating for Christmas and the house was *amazing* - a giant, beautiful Christmas tree, cute decorations everywhere, and lots of beautiful lights. My room was very comfortable - a great bed, plenty of warm covers, and very beautifully decorated. Definitely not a place to bring your kids, or maybe your friends if they're clumsy ;) Jane really does her best to make sure you feel taken care of. There are water and beverages available upstairs, and other snacks down in the dining area.
I have never stayed at a B&B before, and it's definitely a different experience from staying in a large impersonal hotel! When I came down to breakfast in the morning, I enjoyed a leisurely meal with the other guests - all of us in some way visiting Plymouth State. My second morning, Jane made an amazing breakfast of French toast and bacon - delicious!
If you're in the area, I'd absolutely recommend staying here. It's all the comforts of home ... but you don't have to do the cooking!

My husband and I stayed at the Tea Rose Inn recently during a trip to the east coast, Jane and Frank were so amazing, I really felt like I'm at home with family, Jane was so warm and loving. Every day she would bake cookies and offer us some with tea. Breakfast was great so tasty and everything was fresh, Jane is a great baker and cook. The green room was so nice, I loved the bed, it was so comfortable. Our three night stay was so great. I highly recommend the Tea Rose Inn.

This place is a brilliant find. Wonderful owners/company, great room (Green Room) and food that has made me eat more than I have in quite some time (i.e. bleeding delicious).
I travel every week or two for business and have held off reviews for a year as there are too many. The Tea Rose Inn has broken that silence.
Whatever brings you to town...make this your place to stay. Jane and Frank have put so so much effort into making this place a better home away from home that I cannot fully express the pleasure of my stay.
The bed is a sleep number with to die for fleecy sheets. The ensuite bathroom was the right size for a big lad with a nice adjustable shower head. There are so many nicknacks and things to look at I was in heaven but as with other reviews you will want to be careful as there is quite a bit to knock about! Also not a business hotel if you want to work in room as such but I had a lovely time on rocker in my room and it was really nice to take a moment and enjoy where I was rather than emailing all the time. The food for breakfast was amazing. I felt bad not finishing it all but enjoyed every single bite. I couldn't wait for day 2!
This is THE place to stay in Plymouth or even if you need a place for something slightly further afield.

Frank and Jane offered the perfect Bed and Breakfast Inn stay for my wife and I during a gorgeous summer weekend. The house is full of warm charm in a small New England town rife with history and pastoral beauty. We were very touched by their generous hospitality and commitment to providing a memorable stay in Plymouth. We cannot recommend this place enough. I absolutely fell in love with the surrounding area.

We loved our visit to the TRI. The inn is beautiful and meticulously clean. Jane and Frank are excellent hosts who pay attention to every detail. Breakfast is abundant and delicious. You will not be disappointed!

Hosts Frank and Jane put the comfort of their guests first and foremost. Our stay included some snow, and my husband and I were invited to spend another night, if our interstate drive home was too treacherous. Breakfast was superb, even taking into account a gluten intolerance--if you leave hungry, it won't be their fault! Many good restaurants were within walking distance or only a mile and half away. We slept in the Green Room--elegant and most comfortable! The decor is lavish and inviting.

Jane and Frank were the perfect hosts. This bed and breakfast was the perfect place to prepare for a long weekend. Bed was super comfortable - breakfast was delicious - conversation was wonderful. Would go back to visit in a heartbeat. If you need a place to stay when you go to Plymouth, skip the hotel and stay at the Tea Rose Inn.

My daughter, Lauren and I recently stayed at the Tea Rose Inn (April 26-29,2012) while my daughter attended the North Eastern Evolutionary Psychology Conference (NEEPS) at Plymouth State University. We chose the Tea Rose Inn because it is just steps away from the university. The owners, Jane and Frank are exceptional people, I felt as though I knew them my entire life. We stayed in the Green Room which has a select comfort control king size bed and a lovely bathroom. This room is cozy and very comfortable. This B&B is a beautifully appointed Victorian home. Breakfast is served in the formal dining room by candlelight and on beautiful china. Jane is an outstanding cook, her blueberry pancakes, challah bread french toast, and egg, ham, and cheese quiche is challenged by no other. Five star restaurants take a back-seat to breakfast at the Tea Rose Inn. We had the best time in Plymouth and I was sad to say goodbye to Jane and Frank. This is my home away from home, and I look forward to returning. If you are looking for delicious food, comfort, and two of the most accommodatingly lovely people you will ever meet, look no further than the Tea Rose Inn. Thank you so much Jane and Frank for an exceptional time!

This is a delightful B & B tucked in a serene neighborhood in picturesque Plymouth, NH. The innkeepers are gracious hosts who go out of their way to make your stay most pleasant. The gourmet breakfasts we enjoyed were so satisfying that we didn't need to eat again until dinner. I suppose there may be other B & B's that may live up to the same high quality standards as this inn, but they are most likely few and far in between.

In Plymouth for a wedding, we lucked out in making a last minute, two night, reservation with Jane at the Tea Rose Inn. Little did we expect to have struck gold. Tho Jane was away for our stay, husband Frank warmly greeted us on arrival, carried a very heavy bag up to our room, and was the perfect host for the weekend. He also had to do the cooking including a first try but delicious quiche. We stayed in the green room which has a very comfortable king bed.
Great place! Enjoyed sitting on the porch long into the evening with Frank and Jane. The 3 rooms are all different and loaded with period pieces. Also, each room had cable TV. The lower level living room, parlor and dinning room also were decorated with many antiques. The bathrooms all have high quality towels and other amenities. The breakfast was varied each day and they were able to accommodate one of our party with food allergies. The house is very old and still being restored on the exterior but the the interior is all ready for guests.
The little town of Plymouth was its own charm and is close to the local university. Also, the mountains with ski resorts are close enough for a day trip.
My husband and I recently traveled to New Hampshire and stayed at the Tea Rose Inn over the Thanksgiving holidays. It was such a relaxing and cozy time for us, just to get away from the hustle and bustle of Boston. Jane and Frank Hinkle were marvelous hosts and "Can Jane cooK:". What a marvelous breakfast she served us. I would definatly be back again hopfully in the springtime. We just loved it.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time on our trip to Plymouth, NH. We were lucky to have found such a great B&B to stay in during our vacation. Jane and Frank at the Tea Rose Inn were the best hosts that we could've ever asked for. They gave us great suggestions on sites to visit as well as restaurants and shopping. There is so much to do just minutes away from the Tea Rose Inn. Whether it was skiing, fishing, or hiking; we were never short of things to do. The Inn itself was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast that Jane and Frank prepared were delicious. We will definately be staying there again during the summer and I recommend that anyone visiting Plymouth or the lakes region stay at The Tea Rose Inn.

We celebrated in New Hampshire the 30th birthday of our son. The setting couldn't have been better: a beautifully furnished and decorated house, Frank and Jane were very friendly and helpful with all our questions and gave us invaluable advice, and breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

Me and my wife stayed here one night in our road trip to Montreal, and it was amazing. The owners, Jane and Frank, are incredibly personable and great people to talk to. They cook an amazingly delicious breakfast. The room we stayed in (The Green Room) was spacious, the decor was very nice, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The price is very reasonable. I have literally nothing bad to say about this hotel. If you are in the area, stay here. I know I will again.

We went down for Bike Week and stayed at the Tea Rose Inn. We had a great ride down, and our stay at the Inn was just fantastic. The Inn is a beautiful place to stay. Frank and Jane are fantastic, they made our stay a great one. The breakfasts we were served were wonderful. Frank and Jane went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. I would recommend the Tea Rose Inn to anyone. Bike week was such an experience, from the riding through the mountains to the all the friendly people. Frank and Jane made us feel like family. Thanks again Frank and Jane, looking forward to returning to the Tea Rose Inn.

Our weekend stay at the the Inn was fabulous! Jane and Frank are two of the warmest most friendly Inn owners we have come across. We have traveled the country and stayed at many Inn's in both small and large cities, but the Tea Rose, the tops! The rooms are luxurious and very warm and cozy. The grounds are gorgeous even with the snow! Service is 5 star and there isn't anything Jane and Frank won't do to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are already looking forward to our trip back in the summer to enjoy the great food and the warmth of the New England hospitality from Jane and Frank.
