Tea Rose Inn is Famous!

Imagine Innkeeper Frank getting a visit from Academy Award winner Ernest Thompson requesting that the Tea Rose Inn be featured in his up coming movie, Heavenly Angle! Yes that is correct.

On Golden PondErnest Thompson won his Academy Award for writing On Golden Pond, starring Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda and Jane Fonda in 1981. On Golden Pond was filmed in Concord and Meredith, New Hampshire with the actual pond being filmed at Squam Lake, New Hampshire.

The new movie Heavenly Angle is set to be released sometime next year. You can find out more information by visiting Mr. Thompson's website.

Here are a few of the photos from the film crew at the Tea Rose Inn.

Pardon Our Dust!

We are in the process of putting together an application to be listed as a National Historical Site. In order to be listed on the National Historical Registry any restorations must follow strict standards. Since we are doing the restoration of our beautiful Inn ourselves this increases the time and effort, but we think it will be well worth it.  We wanted to make our home available to guests as early as possible so that we could share its beauty.  We have completed 99% of the interior restoration and our guest rooms are complete with all amenities however  the exterior is another matter.  Our efforts to make our Inn a “Painted Victorian Lady” is a work in progress. Please excuse our dust as we bring this grand lady back to her glory days.
